How can nature-based interventions promote health, connection, and equity across diverse communities in Latin America?
In regions where social, ecological, and health inequalities exist, innovative approaches are emerging to connect people with nature in new ways. From digital platforms that guide mindful interaction with nature to social recipes that combat loneliness, these interventions are helping to redefine care beyond the clinic.
This session explores how programmes in Brazil and Ecuador are using nature to promote wellbeing, connection and equity. We will learn about the challenges and opportunities of implementing and researching these models in Global South countries, and reflect on how different natural environments can influence individual and ecological outcomes.
Learn how nature can help redefine care: beyond the clinic and closer to community.
