Carried out at the Botanical Garden of the City of Cuenca, this event mixes groups of older adults, professionals working on the question of aging and other people interested to join in.
The event’s purpose was to showcase the services and projects that are offered by these institutions in relation to nature and our elderlies, and to promote spaces of coexistence and reflection on healthy aging and inclusion practices in contact with nature.
Art projects, yoga, stretching, games but also just spending quality time with each other are some of the activities the participants got to do during this event.
The Chakana Ritual, a celebration of the Andean culture and whose meaning is to connect humanity with the cosmos, was also performed with elements like flowers, grains, fire, water, medicinal plants and ancestral tools.
